How energy is transferred between states of matter.

All  matter contains heat energy.  Heat energy is the result of the movement of tiny little  particles called atoms, molecules or ions in solids, liquids and gases. Heat energy can be transferred from one object to another, and the transfer or flow is due to the difference in temperature between the two objects is called heat. Heat creates a substance called Radiation which provides heat or warmth.
